Four new media libraries have joined the Myriade network, which offers a unique and free card to the residents of Valenciennes Métropole. Others will follow from 2025.

Already eight media libraries concerned and four new ones in 2025
After the establishments in Valenciennes (Simone-Veil and L'Odyssée media library), Anzin and Quérénaing, four new members officially joined the network this Friday, December 13. The François-Rabelais media library, therefore, but also those of Beuvrages, Crespin and Petite-Forêt.
By registering in one of the eight member media libraries, residents of the 35 municipalities of the CAVM therefore have access to all of their resources free of charge. Books, magazines, DVDs, CDs but also video games, board games or other various objects can be kept for 28 days, extendable once.
After a training phase, the agents of the media libraries concerned were able to offer their members the brand new card, which should boost attendance.
“We already notice itassures the director of the Beuvrages media library. Where families only took one before, now they register everyone.” In 2025, four other media libraries will join the network: Bruay-sur-Escaut, Marly, Préseau and Rouvignies.
