Qualified this Saturday afternoon in the round of 32 in La Roche-sur-Yon, Stade Brestois will be involved in three competitions in 2025 with the Coupe de France, therefore, but also Ligue 1 and the Champions League. Thus, the months of January and February risk being crazy for Brest in terms of calendar. Brest will play its Coupe de France round of 16 on Wednesday January 15. He will have played at Le Blé against Lyon the weekend before in L1 and will go to Rennes the following day, still in the championship.
From January 11-12, Stade Brestois could play a match every 3-4 days until February 23. That's a month and a half with potentially 13 official matches to play. To do this, Brest would need to qualify for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France and also compete in the Champions League play-offs. After six days of the Champions League (out of eight), Stade Brestois is seventh in the competition, and therefore virtually directly qualified for the round of 16 (March 4-5 and 11-12).
