La Tentation du Château de Maucaillou, a high-end Crémant de Bordeaux, perfect for parties

In the Médoc, in AOC Moulis, Château Maucaillou (90 hectares) is a reference in red. With a first wine (21 euros) and a second (No. 2 from Maucaillou, 14 euros). Its originality lies in the marketing of a Crémant de Bordeaux, called Tentation by Maucaillou, and has been doing so for seven years already. Its taste profile was defined in advance with the service provider who develops it, located in Entre-deux-Mers.

Ideal to accompany a dessert

A blend of three grape varieties, Sémillon, Muscadelle and Cabernet Franc, with a golden color and interesting volume on the palate, with airy bubbles. The aromatic complexity is there for this high-end cuvée – including in the stylized shape of the bottle – which will prove to be a good companion for dessert, with a Black Forest or a Norwegian omelette. More and more Gironde properties want to offer crémants as an addition to their range. It must be said that the bubble market is growing.
