In total, five people were injured in the vehicle driven by the 13-year-old boy, two of them seriously. Three minors were in the back.
Six people were injured during a violent car accident in Wattrelos (North), on the night of Thursday December 19 to Friday December 20, after the refusal to comply by a 13-year-old child who was driving one of the two vehicles, reports La Voix du Nord.
Inside this car were six people, including the owner of the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman from Tourquennoise, who had left the steering wheel to the teenager, who was from Mouscron, in Belgium.
The police allegedly asked the boy to stop after a bad maneuver. Instead of complying, he apparently ran a red light before going up, in the wrong direction, rue Vallon. The collision with the other car took place at this time. The driver, aged around thirty, was slightly injured but found himself “shocked and psychologically affected”, according to his brother's daily testimony.
An open investigation
