The first dates back to the start of the 2022 school year: in Mondeville she pretended to be a neighbor who had a car problem to obtain a loan from an 83-year-old woman for her bank card with her code. She withdraws €5,024.
“She is never violent”
A year later, in July 2023, in Caen, she stole the papers and card of an 85-year-old man whom she had asked to drop her off by car a little further away, then called him back pretending to be a police officer who found his belongings and took the code from his bank card. The damage this time is €1,544. “ What should we put behind this case of similar facts? She is never violent. She lies, she takes her chances without even trying not to get caught », questioned Maître Sibout, his lawyer for years, pleading a confusion of sentences with two other convictions of 2022 and 2024.
The prosecutor requested twelve months of imprisonment, six of which were closed for the first theft, and twenty-four months, including twelve months, for the second. The court pronounced for the first offense a sentence of six months combined with that of 2022. On the other hand, it sentenced the defendant for the second acts, to twelve months without confusion of sentence and without adjustment.
