Near the level crossing on rue de la Gare, a person had just been hit by a train traveling on the TER Belfort-Delle line. He came from the town of Delloise and was driving in the direction of the Lion City.

Two similar deaths in three days in the area
A similar death occurred a little earlier this week in North Franche-Comté. At 7 p.m. this Tuesday, December 17, firefighters from Doubs and Haute-Saône intervened in the region of Montbéliard, in Aibre, where a TGV which was providing the Paris-Strasbourg link had just hit a 45-year-old man. The victim was killed instantly. With 440 passengers on board, the train was immobilized for almost three hours before being able to resume its journey after the approval of an SNCF official. The driver, shocked, was taken care of by the company’s services. According to the police, this is also a suicide.
