Control operations in food stores continue in Argenteuil (Val-d’Oise). One month after investing three fast-food restaurants and a grocery store on Boulevard Jean-Allemanefollowing a petition launched by local residents, the City’s State services intervened rue Antonin Georges BelinWednesday December 18, 2024, during the evening.
A vast coordinated operation which mobilized national and municipal police officers, prefecture services as well as agents of the city’s municipal health and sanitation service (Schs). One of their inspections notably led to the administrative closure of the Casino supermarket in the Côté Seine shopping center for hygiene reasons.
Four people in a hidden work situation
During their inspections, officers noted several violations of hygiene rules, but also to the Labor Code. The Val-d’Oise prefecture specifies that 250 kg of food food unfit for consumption was destroyed, while four people checked were in a situation of hidden work.
Of the administrative closure procedures were thus launched against three establishments: the restaurant Tokyo for reasons of hygiene and concealed work, the pizzeria R.S Pizza for concealed work and Shan General Food supermarket.
The police also arrested a person wanted for application of a sentence to a prison sentence. The offense for which he was convicted, however, was not specified.
