From December 20 to 29, Place J.-B.-Chaumeil will host a Christmas village combining magic, local products and festivities.
For the first time, Place J.-B.-Chaumeil will experience, at the end of the year, a new, trendy activity, from Friday December 20 to Sunday December 29: a Christmas village. After the Christmas market which took place on Sunday December 8, the Christmas village will be a magical event which should bring joy and conviviality to all those who visit it. This village invites you to savor local specialties, explore artisanal creations and share warm moments with family or friends.
The president of AC2R, Gianni Soriano, and his loyal team are determined to bring the heart of the Valencian city to life: “The participation of many local actors makes this event even more special, and that deserves to be celebrated. Firstly, the diversity of activities offered will attract a wide audience, I think. Visitors will be able to benefit from a caterer who will offer the fruits of his work every day. Fine gourmets, lovers of oysters, champagne or refined dishes. , will find a dedicated space to savor and take away their discoveries. These gastronomic pleasures will immerse visitors in the magic of the holidays, while promoting the work of local artisans. In addition, which should delight beginners and experienced alike, a beautiful ice rink of 200. m² will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For only €5 per hour, including skate rental, young and old will be able to have fun on the ice and dream of becoming artistic or speed sliding champions.
Two children’s rides, accessible for only €1, add a festive touch thanks to the support of the AC2R and the community of communes of Deux-Rives. Then, as it did for the Telethon, the Christmas village supports a noble cause: the animal protection association, Arpa, will be present to sell various objects, the profits of which will be entirely donated to the animal shelter. Local artisans and traders will offer quality products allowing you to find original and handmade presents. Choosing an artisanal gift supports the regional economy and celebrates the unique know-how of local artisans. Numerous prizes to be won, such as vouchers or cinema tickets, are all reasons to come. This festival of joy and conviviality should not be missed.
The inauguration of the Christmas village will take place on Sunday, December 22 at 6:30 p.m. and will end with fireworks at 7 p.m. The village will be open from December 20 to 29 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (on the 24th and 25th from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.).
