This Thursday, December 12, Gard will experience a meteorological deterioration marked by rain and snow in the mountains. A wind flow, well established in the region, brings unstable conditions, with precipitation which increases throughout the day.
From the night of Wednesday to Thursday, moderate showers will affect the coastal plains, particularly around Nîmes and Vigan. Rainfall accumulations should be moderate, with 2 to 5 mm expected in the plains, locally up to 10 mm inland. Snow, on the other hand, will appear at 800 to 900 meters, particularly on Aigoual and Mont-Lozère, where accumulations could reach 10 to 15 cm in the evening.
The weather will remain generally cool and humid, with maximum temperatures close to 8°C in the plains and even colder in the mountains, accentuated by a moderate wind.
Fridayprecipitation will continue, with snow from 800 m in the Cévennes, and lighter showers in the plains. The rainy episode will end during the night from Friday to Saturday, giving way to calmer weather for the weekend.
