Basketball legend Tony Parker, “plural” actress Clara Morgane and writer Maud Ankaoua were invited on March 28 to Agen Agora to give a conference on the theme “Reinventing the Codes”. 1,200 people were present. The evening was a success. It was organized by the Center for Young Leaders of Lot-et-Garonne (CJD 47). The CJD 47 is today co-chaired by Elodie Sauvage and Aurélie Doumenc.
They are in the process of setting up an event which will take place on March 27, 2025 at the CGR in Agen. Open to the public, it will revolve around the idea: “Get out of your comfort zone”. The idea is to explore resilience and overcoming fear of others. Nans and Mouts from the television show “Nus et culottés” will be the speakers. The two men travel from scratch in the wilderness, without clothes and without money. Equipped with their two handheld cameras attached to a bundle that they carry on their shoulders, they go to meet each other.
The Christmas tree planted by the JA and the FDSEA 47 at the Camélat roundabout was vandalized
Last Thursday, November 28, the Young Farmers (JA 47) and the Departmental Federation of Agricultural Operators' Unions of Lot-et-Garonne (FDSEA 47) planted a fir tree on the Camélat roundabout. They then decorated it with original Christmas baubles: “Customs duties”, “Carnival = Rio”, “Simplification”, etc. A mailbox had also been placed on concrete blocks and cement, for the attention of “Barnier Santas”.
In a press release, the JA and the FDSEA 47 announced that this tree of demands had been cut down, the wall broken and the mailbox of grievances looted. “They dared”, write the unions, remaining vague but suggesting that those responsible had already “attacked Arnaud Rousseau”. The big Licra 47 tournament will take place on Saturday December 21 in Agen
In partnership with the Football District, the International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism of Lot-et-Garonne (Licra 47) is organizing the second edition of its major U11 football tournament on Saturday, December 21 at the Antoine Lomet space, 292 rue de Lille in Agen, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. With the help of the Young Licra, Nasser Menni, president of the Agen section of the Licra and Kedidja Harouri, general secretary, fights against racism and anti-Semitism thanks to the round ball.
Teams from across the department will play matches and participate in three workshops. The first will be devoted to the staging of fraternity with two actors from the Agen company L'escalaire qui ascend by Jean-Christophe Houin. There will be a second workshop related to the hidden child led by Anni Rodgold and Marcel Frydman. The latter was one of the children hidden during the Second World War because they were Jewish. A class from Palissy high school in the final of the interregional physics Olympics competition
This Wednesday took place in Gradignan, at the IUT Measurements Physiques, the 32nd edition of the interregional physics Olympics competition. 65 groups were in competition. The Bernard Palissy high school presented a project on Rubens' hit. Imagine flames dancing with music above a tube filled with methane.
As this experiment is no longer authorized in high school, the students found another way to visualize the acoustic waves on this tube. They used lasers, vibrations and soap bubbles to obtain images of flames on the room's ceiling. The 6 students from Palissy high school convinced the competition jury members of the quality of their experiment. Supervised by their physics teacher Jean-Michel Laclaverie and their mathematics teacher Isabelle Lemoine, Loïs, Sam, Antoine, Axel, Lilou and Héloïse will go to the national final in Marseille the last weekend of January.
