In the premises of the academic inspection, in the presence of Hervé Bariller, the members of Amopa 43 took stock of the 2024 financial year. Always with the slogan “serve and protect”, the section supports the educational initiatives in middle and high schools. Prizes, scholarships, projects and competitions: the section was once again very present with students and their teachers. “We must continue to help young people develop a healthy curiosity, awaken their conscience and their critical sense,” recalls Huguette Portal, president of the section.
“You help make the School shine”
An Altiligarian section which, by broadcasting the Order's national competitions, allowed several young people from the region to win prestigious prizes. Like this high school student from Brivadoise, winner of the Young Short Story Prize, or the boilermaker students from a second grade class at Notre-Dame du Château in Monistrol-sur-Loire, rewarded with the Imagin'Action prize.
Numerous meetings punctuated the section's year. Cake, various ceremonies, awards of decorations and prizes such as those for the Deportation and the Resistance, competitions, conferences, projects with schools, inter-order commissions… The 2024 vintage was rich for the Amopa 43.
“You help make the School shine in line with the values we transmit in class. The School is often hit and criticized, but we have quality students who always welcome your proposals. You also make teaching shine. You make a real contribution and the School needs it. It takes a lot of time and energy, but your work is wonderful,” Hervé Bariller, the academic inspector, is full of praise.
In 2025, the section will continue its momentum with its flagship events of the year. A trip to Solferino (Italy) is also in the pipeline in March.
