Faced with the increase in this incivility, the Angers municipal council has adopted two new measures. The first: charge the costs of removing the tagswild posters and stickers, in addition to the fine incurred.
The second: charge for cleaning urination in public spaces. The person responsible will have to pay the fine of €135 and a fixed price of €80.
“As for situations of noise on public roads or in housing (+ 29% this year), they are also subject to financial sanctions and calls for order in connection with the Justice system,” the City also warns. .
Finally, let us point out that to date, 251 cameras are installed in Angers, with 25 to 30 new ones each year on average. All are connected to the urban supervision center where the images are viewed by sworn municipal agents.
