Ten firefighters intervened shortly before noon, this Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 2, boulevard Frédéric-Chaplet in Laval (Mayenne). A car was on fire in the parking lot of a building located near the remand center. Firefighters put out the fire around 1 p.m.
The fire did not spread
There were no injuries and the fire did not spread to the building or to other vehicles parked in the parking lot. According to our information, the fire broke out following an electrical problem on a rather old car.
