At 31, Alys Bravay is deputy director of the L'Hippocampe campsite, in Volonne, – the only 5-star outdoor establishment in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. This is neither by chance nor by nepotism. Because if she concedes that, at six years old, she was already talking about it, the 31-year-old young woman went to see elsewhere what she could find before returning to the establishment created by her grandfather in 1965.
“And then afterwards, I told myself that it was time for me to get started”
After studying business at Edhec in Nice, she went to the United States to improve her English for six months then to Paris to do a master 2 in business school, with a specialty in communication and events, at ESG, work-study in a start-up. “Then, I was hired at Disneyland Paris for almost three years, in charge of event production. It was a very nice experience. The goal is still to make people dream… And then afterwards, I told myself that it was time for me to get started, to join the family business, in 2017. My father told me always said “You will do what you want.” But I knew very well that if I didn't go, it would also be the end of the Bravay family story.“.
