The bank is recruiting to achieve its growth ambitions and create an agency in each provincial capital by 2027. Campine, Namur, Liège and Ostend are the targeted areas for this large-scale investment, part of which is planned for 2025. The bank ethical and sustainable already has 61 local agencies, spread throughout Flanders and Brussels; vdk bank intends to favor and maintain personalized advice. Since 1926, individuals and households who care about their environment have been able to carry out ethical banking transactions at vdk bank. Since April 1, 2023, vdk bank has also been present in Brussels and Wallonia. The bank currently has 148,000 customers in Belgium. In order to realize its projects, the bank is looking for around twenty new helpful employees with enthusiastic profiles.

vdk bank is convinced that it is necessary to combine physical branches and the offering of digital banking services. However, the potential in city centers is still enormous to give substance to this approach. The bank wants to establish itself physically more in Flanders and Wallonia and within two years have an agency in each Belgian provincial capital.
New ambitions for 2025
“We are proud to have been named the best bank branch network in the country in December. Our goal is to have an ideal distribution of our agencies throughout Belgium. We want to be accessible and have our doors open to everyone,” explains Steven Wauters, commercial director of vdk bank.
