The venerie company in France is opening an internal investigation to shed light on the conditions of slaughter of a deer during a hunting trip with hounds in the Écouves forest in Orne, on December 3, learned December 10 Tuesday France blue Normandy ( – Orne).

According to information from France Bleu, the French hunting company wants to know if the crew involved was authorized to pursue the animal outside the Écouves forest. The investigation will make it possible to reconstruct the deer's route once it leaves the woods.

Finally, still according to France Bleu Normandie (Calvados – Orne), the venerie company will check whether the 2019 ministerial decree which prohibits killing the animal near homes has been respected. If necessary, sanctions will be taken against the crew.
