After the conviction on Monday of a young man who threw a scooter at the police, investigations are underway for the dissemination of images of violence against people.
A week after the violent attack on police officers in a screen-printed car on Tuesday, December 3 in Vénissieux, images of which appear in a rap clip published on YouTube on Saturday, the Lyon public prosecutor's office opened an investigation this Tuesday for “dissemination of the recording images relating to the commission of a willful attack on the integrity of the person”.
A conviction for violence
This investigation follows that for “intentional violence against police officers and damage to property intended for the public utility” opened to identify the individuals who, on December 3 during the filming of the clip, threw a plaque of tar and an electric scooter on a police car.
It made it possible to identify the alleged perpetrator of the electric scooter throw, who was arrested and taken into police custody on December 6. Referred on December 8, this young man was sentenced on Monday in immediate appearance to eight months of imprisonment suspended for two years, as well as to the penalty of deprivation of the right to stand for election for one year.
