This Cotentin village hall will be completely renovated: the call for applications launched

The renovation project of the party room de Réville (Manche) had been in the works for five years. During the last three seniors mealYves Asseline, mayor of the townwas happy to announce its imminent realization. In vain.

“This time,” he rejoices, “thecall for applications was launched. The renovation will be complete, from the roof to the insulation to the heating. »

“Optimal use”

“A mini-terrace will also be created outside to complete the uses. The gauge will be slightly reduced to enlarge the kitchen and the scullery, but the room will be able to accommodate 230 people seated. From a cost of almost 800,000 eurosthe project was entrusted to an architect from Valognes. »

Purchased by the municipality in 1985 and transformed into a party hall, this old agricultural shed therefore sees its future assured.

The municipal council debated at length whether to renovate the current hall or build a new one, closer to the village center. But the existing one ultimately appeared very well located. It has a large car park and the proximity of the football field allows its use to be optimized.

The works should normally start on March 2025 for delivery scheduled for the end of the year.
