Romans Agglo (Drôme) made the challenge of humor to explain everyday topics. Since Friday December 6, the intercommunality has launched a series of offbeat videos, entitled “The most beautiful of the Agglo”to dissect the issues linked to the living environment. This series began with two episodes devoted to waste.

In the desire to bring public services closer to residents, these videos aim to demystify topics sometimes perceived as complex or unattractive. “Thanks to Olgga Delaglaux, the special correspondent of the Agglo and witty presentations, technical subjects are now accessible to all,” appreciates Valence Romans Agglo in a press release.

First two episodes devoted to waste

The first two episodes of the series focus on two crucial themes: selective sorting et composting. Far from moralizing speeches, these videos use humor as an effective educational tool. The objective? Make people understand and remember the right actions in a fun and entertaining way.

This innovative approach is part of a global communications strategy aimed at involving all stakeholders in the region: agents, elected officials, residents, associations and businesses. “A bias which allows us to promote the work of the “shadow” teams who work daily to improve the living environment of residents”, underlines the Agglo again.

A local achievement

The videos, made with the Valentin-based company SVD studio and Camille Charavet, are all filmed on the territory of the Agglo, with the participation of community agents.

Other episodes dedicated to sanitation, flood prevention or even public lighting will follow in the coming weeks.
