On November 20, in the presence of Françoise Gatel, Minister Delegate in charge of rurality, commerce and crafts, Jean Pierre Farandou, president of the SNCF group, and Alain Di Crescenzo, president of CCI France, signed the first partnership SNCF – CCI France.
This unique partnership, driven by Pascal Décary, SNCF Group purchasing director, allows the group to strengthen its links with CCI France and its network of 122 CCI – recognized players in local support for businesses – to support its regional economic development strategy, in particular, by strengthening and facilitating access for local VSEs/SMEs to these markets, and the acceleration of the ecological and energy from suppliers. To do this, SNCF will now broadcast its market opportunities on the CCI Business platform created in Normandy by the CCI network.
Concretely, this will involve:
- Inform companies about markets, access conditions and the SNCF purchasing policy, particularly in the context of these investment programs
- Contribute to supporting suppliers in accessing the SNCF market
- Supporting suppliers in decarbonization and the development of the circular economy
- Collaborate on the skills needs necessary to support the deployment of projects and their completion
As part of this partnership concluded for a period of 3 years, regional variations adapted to the needs and opportunities of each territory will be put in place.
-Already, very concrete actions nourish this partnership such as participation in the RIN, or in the 22nd edition of the Rendez-vous d'Affaire de Normandie on November 26 in Deauville.
Partnership projects are underway in regions such as Cantal Seine Nord Europe between the CCI Haut de France and the SNCF network purchasing department.
