After two incidents that occurred in French-speaking Switzerland this weekend, it was this time near Thun that an ATM was targeted.

Unknown persons blew up an ATM in Hünibach (BE), a village on the shores of Lake Thun, during the night from Sunday to Monday. The criminals fled with their loot, Bern police said Monday morning.
The explosion took place in the middle of the night, at 3:10 a.m., the police said in a press release. Witnesses saw two people fleeing on a motorcycle after the incident, according to law enforcement.
The latter have put in place measures to try to find the criminals. After the explosion, the street on which the incident occurred had to be completely closed off to traffic for several hours.
During the night from Friday to Saturday, two other ATMs were attacked in French-speaking Switzerland, in Rossens (FR) and Montagny-près-Yverdon (VD). ATMs are regularly targeted by criminals. (jzs/ats)
