The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, is on a parliamentary working visit to the Republic of Slovenia on Monday.
On the agenda of this visit, which comes at the invitation of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Mrs. Urška Klakočar Zupančič, are several important parliamentary meetings, and will be an opportunity to present the major projects in which the Kingdom is committed to the Wise Conduct of HM King Mohammed VI, indicates a press release from the House of Representatives.
This visit also aims to discuss ways to improve good bilateral parliamentary relations, strengthen dialogue, as well as coordination between the two institutions in the various regional and international parliamentary forums within the framework of mutual respect for sovereignty and of the territorial integrity of countries in addition to contributing, as legislative and parliamentary institutions, to the influence of international peace and security.
In November 2022, Ms. Urška Klakočar Zupančič made a working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco which was crowned by the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the consolidation of cooperation between the two legislative institutions.
-This memorandum aims to develop friendly relations, strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation and promote the exchange of visits of parliamentary delegations at the highest level, parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries and members of the two legislative institutions. It also aims to intensify cooperation in terms of exchange of information and consultation around issues of common interest.
