In Concarneau, this Friday, December 6, Lucien, 16 years old, Kris, 17 years old, Célia, 22 years old, Rémy, 24 years old and Héloïse, 17 years old were able to hear, for the first time, the three episodes of the podcast “Touche pas à my podcast”, which they produced on November 12, 13 and 14, at the cultural center of Concarneau.
The obstinacy of seasoned journalists
Under the leadership of journalist Bettina Lioret, who works for France Inter's show Affairs Sensitive, these young people from the local missions of Concarneau and Quimperlé investigated three current questions: “What are journalists for? », “How to avoid fake news? » and “How do social networks contribute to disinformation? “. To do this, they surveyed the Concarnois via a sidewalk microphone. An exercise not always easy. “When we asked if they would answer our questions, we were often rebuffed. But we held on and, after several refusals, we ended up having witnesses who agreed to speak. It taught us not to get discouraged,” explained Héloïse.
“I came to this local mission workshop, a bit by chance. I was a little skeptical at first, but very quickly, I got into the game. Bettina is a very nice person who communicates her passion for her profession,” summed up Kris. “Well, in terms of my voice, I’m not very satisfied with the result. I could have done better,” said the 17-year-old. A rather harsh judgment given the quality of the three episodes of the podcast, which are very informative and well-founded. Each lasting around ten minutes, they can be discovered, for a month, on the Spotify, Apple Podcast and Deezer platforms.
