There is something new at the Westfield Parly 2 shopping center in Chesnay-Rocquencourt (Yvelines). A twenty new brands have opened their doors or will open during the month of December 2024.
Ready to wear, delicatessen, jewelry, etc.
These new stores concern in particular the sector of ready-to-wear with Pull & Bear, Jonak, La Fée Maraboutée and Faguo, an eco-responsible brand specializing in clothing and accessories. But also the field of gluttony with the arrival of Comptoir de Mathilde, a deli and gourmet, or the Copains bakery, specialist in gluten-free bread and cakes.
The national brand Salomon is also now present, as is Linvosges, dedicated to linens or APM Monaco (jewelry) and Oh my cream (beauty concept store) which are about to open.
A record year
“It’s a record year in terms of marketing. We can sometimes think that this is negative, but on the contrary, it is the life of a shopping center. Some brands are leaving, others are arriving. This allows us to be better aligned in terms of supply and demand. »
The judicial liquidationat the national level, certain brands such as Camaïeu, San Marina and Go Sport also played a role in this renewal.
“Beyond the new openings, we are lucky to have brands already present which are investing such as Nespresso which has renovated its store or even Zara,” adds Pauline Arion. Apple has also renovated itself, Dior has a wonderful shopetc. »
The fast food brand KFC has also arrived, as well as La Boutique du coiffureur, specialist in professional hairdressing and aesthetic products, and a local florist, Le Chant des fleurs.
Pop-up shops for the holidays
In this period of Christmas parties, the center also hosts several pop-up shops: Bloolands, an artisanal brand of LED candles from Versailles, l'Artisan de Noël, specialized in decorations elegant for the holidays, and La Chaise Longue, ideal for Christmas gifts.
The Chesnay-Rocquencourt shopping center thus seeks to respond to the needs and consumer desires which evolve. There is no question of limiting yourself to a premium offer even if it is still present, but rather of offering a “wide range”.
192 boutiques
“We have 192 complementary stores. You can find everything within the center which is increasingly becoming a destination place,” believes Pauline Arion.
In 2023, Parly 2 welcomed nearly 11.4 million visitors. There should be 12 million this year. And not only thanks to the opening on Sundays.
“Of course, Sunday helps us,” agrees the director. But this did not cause us to lose attendance on the other days of the week. »
In 2025
In 2025, the center should work to promote its servicessuch as children's carts or valet parking on weekends, but also improve revegetation of the center with, in particular, the opening of a terrace and an outdoor play area. “The objective is to favor the comfort and the visitor experience,” concludes Pauline Arion.
In December, Westfield Parly 2 will be open every day, Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
