« We started off tough until our double-bogey on 9. There we could have collapsed, but not at all. We managed to stay focused by telling ourselves that we were going to smash the course on the way back. And that’s what we did! » proudly noted the Bassin Bleu player.
Member of the Golf du Colorado, Titouan Berny was also pleased with the attitude of the day and the perspective of the next day.
« We are really proud of our attitude with -5 on the return and -4 on the last five holes with our eagle at 18. It's a tournament that is obviously particularly close to our hearts. We'll just try to play well tomorrow and enjoy the moment. There will be a good atmosphere with the Reunion public. »
Caturla and Riu logically still in the race
Two shots behind the last game, we should not underestimate the only duo of former winners composed of Stanislas Caturla et Victor Riu. The 2022 winners are only three shots off the lead with a day under par, despite a +4 from 14 to 16!
With a score of -7, they are accompanied on the last step of the podium by Benjamin Kedochimthe player from the Golf de Bourbon who will play on the Challenge Tour in 2025.
