The concert will not be the only artistic event offered on television and to tourists and Parisians passing through the Île de la Cité. Illuminations were also planned on Notre-Dame. Here again, they were broadcast on Friday evening, to the great pleasure of those who were able to enjoy them, behind the barriers or from the bridge.
Another major change due to the rain: Emmanuel Macron's speech, which should focus on “the art of being French” and last around fifteen minutes, will be delivered from inside the cathedral. It was planned that it would take place on the square to respect the separation between Church and State.
