Following the invitation from Loïc Lavergne-Azard, mayor of Vayrac, Amel Tir, sub-prefect of Gourdon, was in Vayrac on Friday November 29 for a municipal visit. In the presence of several municipal councilors, the mayor quickly described the town with its numerous associations and businesses to the state representative. He then presented the ongoing projects and projects: the expansion of the primary school refectory which has just been completed for €220,000 excluding tax (€132,400 DETR subsidy, equipment allocation for rural areas, and €44,163 of the department); the municipal subdivision currently being completed and soon to be commercialized with twenty plots, five of which have been reserved by Lot Habitat for the construction of eight to ten social housing units; the gentle path on the RD803 allowing safe access on foot to the supermarket. There, the forecast cost is €377,744 with €176,803 from DETR but the departmental subsidy is still awaited. The MSP (multi-professional health center), which should be operational in the fall of 2025, will normally be supplemented by the construction of a pharmacy. Let us also mention the essential redevelopment by the municipality of Place Emile Zola; the former Auriel hotel, the expropriation file for which should be finalized at the start of 2025: enhancement of the heritage, beautification and security of the entrance to the village, demand for housing are the arguments justifying this file. There is also the development of the sports park and the entrance to the village, a large file with an APS (preliminary project summary) provisionally estimated at €2,487,196 excluding tax and divided into three parts: the built structures for €703,282 , public spaces for €1,312,357 and the city entrance for €471,557. The municipality requested the DETR for 2025, for the first phase, given the emergency. The sub-prefect obviously took note, emphasizing that arbitrations will be necessary.
All the participants then walked to the football stadium. Armel Tir was thus able to realize the need to undertake the work, particularly for the changing rooms which are in an unworthy state to accommodate young players, she was able to see the danger of the old swimming pool which was still full and easily accessible.
