It's going to be blowing in this weekend! During the night of Thursday 5 to Friday 6 December 2024, the wind was already felt in the department and it will be worse this weekend. Squalls up to 80 km/h are expected, as well as a little rain and generally low temperatures…

The department will be on yellow alert from Saturday December 7 at 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. in the evening. Here are Météo 's forecasts for the coming days.

Disturbances from Friday evening

In addition to a few drops of rain which fall, the wind will rise in the coming night: 55 km/h in Mantes-la-Jolie, Saint-Germain-en-Laye or and up to 60 km/h in Saint-Arnoult-en- Yvelines, Houdan or Élancourt.

The gusts will remain stable until early afternoon on Saturday when they will intensify: between 70 km/h in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, Rambouillet and and 80 km/h in Élancourt and Bonnières-sur-Seine . All with rain in the north of the department and temperatures included between 7 and 9°C.

You will have to wait until Sunday evening so that the wind finally drops below 50 km/h.

Some municipalities have already alerted residents. This is the case of Houilles for example, where a tree fell during the night of Thursday to Friday in the square Le Petit Prince.
