This Thursday at the very beginning of the afternoon, an accident occurred in Cerfontaine, in the province of Namur.
Firefighters from the Dinaphi – Philippeville emergency zone were called this Thursday around 1:20 p.m. for a traffic accident on rue Par dela l’Eau in Cerfontaine.
According to information from our colleagues at Sudinfo, the pick-up lost control and ended up on the roof before plowing into a restaurant located at the junction between rue des barrages and rue royale. A truck was also affected by this accident. It caused blocks to fall on the road after hitting the Silenrieux bridge.
The accident killed three people – including two who were in the pickup. The seriousness of the accident and its circumstances are unknown at this stage.
Traffic is temporarily reduced to one lane.
An ambulance from Cerfontaine and another from Philippeville were deployed.
