All the Christmas festivities in Mouy

Mouy is preparing for the end-of-year festivities with a busy program for all audiences. For the youngest, the North Pole mailbox is already installed at the town hall to receive gift lists addressed to Santa Claus…

A magician in kindergarten

Still aimed at the little ones, children from Pierre & Marie Curie and Louise Michel nursery schools will receive a visit from a magician on December 5 and 6. This visit will be preceded by a distribution of books. And just before the start of the school holidays, it is Santa Claus himself who will tour nursery and primary schools to distribute chocolates.

On the other hand, it is not Santa Claus that the Mouysards can have fun looking for in the streets of the town but a prankish elf. Since last Sunday and until December 25, this prankster elf has been hiding in a different place with a sign on which a word is written. The aim of the game is to be the first to reconstruct the complete sentence to win a prize.

Christmas parade and market

Children and their parents will not miss the traditional Christmas parade organized by the MJC on Saturday, December 14 from 2:30 p.m. It will leave from Place Avinin in front of the town hall to stroll through the streets to George Sand Park where it will will make a short stop before hitting the road again to reach, around 3 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., the Alain Bashung room where the Christmas market will be held but also, exceptionally, the weekly market (outdoors). Once installed in the party room, Santa Claus will warmly welcome the children for photo sessions. Still for children, on Wednesday December 18, the media library will offer Christmas stories and tales (at 10 a.m. for 0-4 year olds and at 2:30 p.m. for 5 – 10 year olds).

Lottery and choir for seniors

Mouysard seniors will not be forgotten with a seniors lottery on Friday, December 13, and a choral show on Wednesday, December 18 at the Résidence Autonomie.

Finally, for everyone, on Sunday December 22, a Christmas concert will be given in the Bashung Hall (5 p.m.) by the Sud-Oise chamber orchestra (free participation).
