The city of Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) no longer organizes fireworks displays on Bastille Day since the attack on July 14, 2016.

Here is the entire program related to the National Holiday and to the commemorations in the city, this Sunday, July 14, 2024.

No fireworks in Nice this year

In 2022 and 2023, new fireworks were set off along the Baie des Anges the night before. But unlike the last two years, no fireworks will not be drawn in Nice for the National Day in 2024.

Where to see fireworks for the National Day?

You will have to go to these towns to see them:

– July 13 in Antibes, Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Grasse, Beausoleil, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Cagnes-sur-Mer or Villefranche-sur-Mer
– July 14 in Cannes, Menton, Juan-Les-Pins, Cannes, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat or Villeneuve-Loubet
– July 15 in Golfe-Juan and Mandelieu-La-Napoule.

On the other hand, a drone and pyrotechnics show will be on display the evening before the arrival of the Tour de France in Nice, Saturday July 20.
