Attention, it will blow hard in the north of Hauts-de-France on the night of Thursday 5 to Friday 6 December 2024. Météo France has placed the departments of Nord a you Pas-de-Calais in yellow vigilance pour strong winds. The alert starts from 10 p.m., and lasts all night, at least until 6 a.m. Friday morning.
The Nord – Pas-de-Calais affected by violent winds, with peaks of 85 km/h
Caution is required, and this is no surprise, particularly on the coast : from the evening, peaks of up to 85 km/h are expected, as in Calais. Inland, it will blow at 60 to 70 km/h, including in the large cities of Lille, Lens, Arras… Friday morning, the wind will not have died down.
-Météo France in fact predicts peaks at 50 km/h from the early hours of the day, almost everywhere on the territory, with always higher values on the coast (up to 70 km/h). The lull will only arrive in the afternoon: the wind will not blow above 15 km/h, once the storm has passed.
