It’s a brand new bike route which goes from Saint-Nazaire on the Atlantic coast to Lake Vassivière in Creuse and which crosses Deux-Sèvres: the Velideal. 638 km in total including 198 in Deux-SèvresIn the department, the route passes through Nueil-les-Aubiers, Bressuire, Parthenay, Champdeniers, Niort, Melle and Chef-Boutonne. “This route is a first in France and crosses four regional natural parks, and we hope to soon have five with Gâtine.”says Olivier Amblard, director of Charente Tourisme
