Sunday December 1, 2024, the municipal dojo of Rodez hosted the Aveyron Taekwondo Championships. Organized by the departmental committee of Taekwondo and associated disciplines, this competition brought together competitors, coaches, referees, parents and volunteers in a friendly atmosphere.
The Taekwondo Sonmudo Millau Sports Association (ASTSM) participated in force in this event. The members of the club warmly thanked the departmental committee for its exemplary organization and praised the contribution of the local referees: Wassim El Kachaai, Yanis et Channel Keutchateu, Lucas Vidal, Mohamed Boughlimaas well as Maître Stéphane Vidalinternational referee.
ASTSM results
Represented by 16 fighters, the ASTSM collected numerous titles and medals:
- Yanis Keutchateu : Champion of Aveyron, gold medalist in technique and combat, senior category -80 kg and +80 kg.
- Lucas Vidal : Champion of Aveyron, gold medalist in technique and combat, cadet category -45 kg.
- Alan Di Federico : Champion of Aveyron, gold medalist in technique and combat, junior category -63 kg.
- Alice Borne : Champion of Aveyron, gold medalist in cadet combat -41 kg and bronze medalist in technique, cadet category.
- Léonie Marty : Bronze medalist in technique, cadet category, and silver medalist in cadet combat -41 kg.
- Habib Farasat : Bronze medalist in junior combat -68 kg. The club wishes him a speedy recovery after a facial injury.
- Nina Fossemale-Amiel : Champion of Aveyron, gold medalist in junior combat -49 kg and silver medalist in technique.
- Joel Fossemale : Bronze medalist in combat master -68 kg.
- Rania El Adaoui : Champion of Aveyron in junior combat -30 kg.
- Ahmed Deriouch : Silver medalist in minimal combat -53 kg.
- Benjamin Bascoul : Champion of Aveyron in minimal combat -37 kg and -53 kg, bronze medalist in technique, minimal category.
- Alice Caubel : Champion of Aveyron, gold medalist in technique, junior category.
- Ange Aquaviva : Silver medalist in junior combat -63 kg.
- Houari Choucha : Silver medalist in master combat +80 kg.
- Anaël Heyberger : Champion of Aveyron, gold medalist in technique, minimal category, and in combat -30 kg.
- Gabrielle Herrero : Champion of Aveyron, gold medalist in technique, minimal category, and in minimal combat -47 kg.
- Luna Boissière : Silver medalist in technique, minimal category.
Next meeting: Taekwondo Kids Games
The ASTSM invites young graduates, aged 3 to 14, to participate in Taekwondo Kids Games on Sunday December 15 at the Paul Tort gymnasium in Millau. Ten fun, physical and technical events will be on the program.
