The Etoc student association (Speech therapy students of Caen) presented a check to the delegated members of France Parkinson, Friday November 29, 2024. It was during the Parkicourse, a charity race which took place on Wednesday October 9, that the The student association collected nearly €470 to support the fight against Parkinson's disease.
Marie-Hélène, Evelyne and Éric, members of the France Parkinson association, testify to the event: “ It's an excellent memory, despite the weather, the conviviality was there. Organizing this event in the presence of so many young people allows us to change the way we look at the disease and show that it's not just old people who are shaking in their chairs. »

Marie-Hélène, herself suffering from the disease and present at the event, insists: “ This disease is little known, it is good to make it known to as many people as possible. We really thank the students for that ».
Maëlys and Louna, members of Etoc and organizers of the Parkicourse, share the same satisfaction: “ We liked working with people who were a little more specialized in this disease. A stand was held by Marie-Hélène for more in-depth expertise. It was a very interesting collaboration. ».
The Etoc association wishes to perpetuate this event, which could bring together health experts and patients around a common objective: the struggle in the effort.
