Three suspects who were under surveillance were arrested in Guyana last week according to what the police revealed.

It is a long-term work which is now seeing its fruit. Investigations carried out jointly by the Anti-Narcotics Office (OFAST) of and their counterparts in Guyana led to the arrest of three suspects.

They are said to have taken an active part in drug trafficking between Guyana, Suriname and Marseille in recent months.

Police sleuths managed to identify and arrest three individuals last week with the support of RAID men.

During the arrest, 6,100 euros in cash were seized, putting an end to the actions of the alleged perpetrators.

Three defendants who were incarcerated pending their transfer to the Judicial Court.
