A nurse and a caregiver were violently attacked this Wednesday, December 4 in the morning, by an individual with a psychiatric history. The accused was interned in a specialized establishment.
The events took place shortly before 5 a.m. This Wednesday, December 4, a violent attack took place in a hospital in Sallanches (Haute-Savoie).
Indeed, a man, admitted in the evening to the short-term hospitalization unit of the Hôpitaux du Pays du Mont-Blanc (HPMB), violently attacked a nurse and a caregiver, CNEWS learned from the Bonneville public prosecutor's office, confirming information from Dauphiné Libéré.
During this attack, one of the victims saw a glass being broken at the back of his head while the second received blows to the face. The public prosecutor specifies that “the most seriously injured person is the caregiver”.
Following the events, the suspect, with a psychiatric history, was immediately interned in the specialized establishment of La Roche-sur-Foron.
