Tuesday December 3, 2024, the company Autocars Hife presented in Andorra the new bus line that it offers between the Principality and France every day.
A bus line between Andorra La Vella and Ax-Les-Thermes
With a length of 60 kilometers, this line will leave from Andorra la Vella to join Ax-Les-Thermes (Ariège). And vice versa. The journey will last two hours.
Seven stops in 60 kilometers
“The Andorran towns of Andorra la Vella, Encamp, Canillo, Soldeu and Pas de la Casa will be connected to the French towns of Hospitalet-Près-la-Andorre and Ax-les-Thermes thanks to a new line regular public transport. This line benefits from SNCF rail links in Ariège, creating a unique intermodal connection between Occitania and Andorra,” indicates the company Autocars Hife.
Two departures every day from Ax-Les-Thermes
She continues: “The line will offer two daily departures in each direction, synchronized with SNCF train timetables in France. This will enable comfortable intermodal travel for tourism, shopping or work.”

Schedules and prices
Departing from Ax-Les-Thermes, the buses will leave at 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. in the evening.
From Pas-de-la-Case, the buses will return at 6:10 a.m. and 5:55 p.m. towards Ax-Les-Thermes.
The line will offer stops at Encamp, Canillo, Soldeu and Pas de la Casa in Andorra, then at l'Hospitalet-Près-l'Andorre in France.
Prices will vary depending on the destination. To get to Pas-de-la-Case from Ax-Les-Thermes, you will have to pay 12 euros one way and 21 euros a return trip.
To get to Andorra la Vella from Ax it will cost 26 euros one way. And 46 euros for a round trip.
