Magellan Consulting sets up in Lyon

The Magellan consultancy firm is opening an office in Lyon under the direction of Margaux Slagmulder and is recruiting ten people on permanent contracts by the end of the year.

The Lyon branch plans to focus on technology consulting in the energy, industry and services sectors, with expertise in renewable energy and manufacturing. Upcoming recruitments target people with 2 to 10 years of experience in Magellan’s preferred sectors.

“Our new office in Lyon allows us to extend from Clermont-Ferrand to Grenoble and to the Swiss border,” says Margaux Slagmulder in a press release. “Much more than a geographical proximity to our customers, our location as close as possible to the various industrial hubs and clusters allows us to truly immerse ourselves in the ecosystems and to best respond to the specific needs and challenges of each of the energy and industrial activities that we support”.

“We are very happy to be setting up in France’s leading industrial agglomeration”adds Tidiane Fall, CEO of Magellan Consulting. “This marks a new stage in our growth and reinforces our desire to offer our clients tailor-made and ever more innovative organizational and IT consulting solutions.”

The press release highlights the synergies between Magellan Consulting and the subsidiary Exakis Nelite of the Magellan Partners group, which specializes in Microsoft solutions and has been based in Lyon for over twenty years. The two entities occupy the same offices.
