Rabat hosts the 2nd International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH 2024)

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the 2nd International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH 2024) will be held in Rabat, from December 4 to 6, 2024. This event, jointly organized by the International University of Rabat and the Mohammed V University of Rabat, is part of the efforts aimed at realizing the royal vision relating to the development of green hydrogen in Morocco, in the wake of the national project “Morocco Offer”.

Placed under the theme “Towards an ecosystem dedicated to green hydrogen”this conference will bring together a prestigious panel of national and international experts, industrialists and decision-makers. Discussions will focus on the mechanisms needed to promote green hydrogen in various sectors, including solid hydrogen storage and green ammonia production.

A unique and interactive program

For the first time, ICGH will host an interactive exhibition dedicated to green hydrogen technologies. This space will allow participants to discover innovations in the fields of production, storage and use of this promising energy resource.

The program will also include an educational component for students, as well as an event dedicated to women scientists engaged in the research and development of green hydrogen, highlighting their key role in this strategic sector.

A reference meeting

Supported by leading companies and active players in the sector, ICGH 2024 aims to position Morocco as a regional and continental hub for green hydrogen. This event aims to be an inclusive dialogue platform, involving all stakeholders, beyond technical circles, to make green hydrogen a driver of sustainable development on a national and international scale.

The International Conference on Green Hydrogen promises to be an unmissable event to explore the perspectives offered by this energy of tomorrow.
