Tour de France. “We’re not moving anything between now and July 12”: arrival in Laval is ready

Stéphane Boury is General Commissioner of the Tour de France, and responsible for stage finishes. He has been working for months on the one leading on Saturday July 12, 2025 from Saint-Méen-le-Grand (Ille-et-Vilaine) to Laval (Mayenne). He also spent two days in the department to supervise the final details.

You have just come out of two meetings in Mayenne. They approved the route of the 8^e stage of the Tour de France, who will arrive in Laval?

Everything is validated yes, now we are not moving anything between now and July 12. We had a meeting on Monday concerning Laval, another on Tuesday with the mayors of the municipalities crossed upstream. They will now work with the gendarmerie to secure the route. There will be a few tags to unscrew, barriers to install, but nothing special.
