The special security plan (PPMS) was activated on the two sites of the Navarre-Leclerc high school at 2:45 p.m., this Tuesday, December 3, 2024. “an individual armed with a knife was seen near the Navarre and Leclerc high schools”, in Alençon (Orne). The email from the assistant principal, Parize Rugard, to warn parents arrived in mailboxes shortly before 3 p.m.

The two establishments are about a hundred meters apart but administratively merged at the start of the school year in September 2019
