A judicial investigation into “domestic homicide” was opened by the Bobigny public prosecutor's office following the death, Monday, December 2 in the evening, of a 29-year-old woman at her home, killed by her partner, CNEWS learned from the public prosecutor this Tuesday.
The Bobigny public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into the charge of “domestic homicide”, entrusted to the Sub-Directorate of the Judicial Police (SDPJ) of Seine-Saint-Denis, following the death, Monday December 2, of a 29-year-old woman in Aulnay-sous-Bois, CNEWS learned this Tuesday, December 3, from the public prosecutor.
According to our information, transmitted by the prosecution, the victim contacted municipal police officers for “ongoing domestic violence”. When they arrived there, the woman's companion, aged 24, had disappeared. However, the victim's 5-year-old son was present at the scene.
The victim died shortly after the arrival of municipal police. His companion was finally arrested “during the night” and placed in police custody. “It must be heard during the day,” the prosecution tells us.
As part of this case, “the femicide protocol was activated” for the 5-year-old child, the public prosecutor tells us. This therefore involves “taking care of the minor in hospital for three days in order to assess the situation and decide on the follow-up,” concluded the prosecution.
