Men in Black, Gettin’Jiggy With It but also Boom ! Shake the Room. Before becoming a world-famous actor, Will Smith began his career as a rapper in 1987.
A cap that he will put on again this summer for an exceptional concert on July 31 in the ancient theater of Orange (Vaucluse) on the occasion of the Positiv Festival. This will be the first time that Will Smith will give a concert in France.
The tickets, the amount of which we do not yet know, will be on sale from this Wednesday, December 4, 2024. They should sell out very quickly. It is possible to register now to benefit from priority access to the Positiv festival website.
Five albums to his credit
It was under the pseudonym DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince that Will Smith launched his career in Philadelphia in the 1990s. In the company of Jeff Townes (DJ Jazzy Jeff) and solo, he released five albums. Spotted by Quincy Jones, he then met with great public success thanks to the series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
In June, he unveiled a new song You Can Make It in which he returned to the slap he gave to Chris Rock during the 2022 Oscars ceremony.
