The Girondins de Bordeaux will no longer be able to play Coupe de France matches behind closed doors. This is what the French Football Federation (FFF) informed them in a letter dated November 28: for the 32es final, scheduled for December 20, 21 and 22 – the Girondins will face Stade Rennais – it will be mandatory to have an audience, otherwise the match will be reversed.
“If the Girondins de Bordeaux club is not able to receive the public during the next Coupe de France meeting in the event of qualification for the 32es final, the meeting will be reversed, the progress of the Coupe de France cannot be envisaged without an audience on a recurring basis »wrote the FFF.
