drop in temperatures, snow… A cold snap will hit this weekend

Temperatures will drop sharply during this weekend, Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, during which precipitation and snowfall are expected.

The return of inclement weather. While the weather conditions have been quite good since the first Monday of December, and should be until Thursday, December 5 with clearings over most of the country, the sky will get worse this weekend.

Indeed, according to Météo-, the rain will return on Saturday December 7 from north to south, passing through the west as in (Finistère), up to (Bas-Rhin).

Only the Mediterranean basin will be spared and with some clearings in (Bouches-du-Rhône), (Alpes-Maritimes) and (Pyrénées-Orientales).

In terms of temperatures, the maximums are expected in (Hautes-Pyrénées) with 16°C, or even (17°C), although the Isle of Beauty is also not immune to the drops.

A few flakes on Sunday

On Sunday, the mercury will be a little lower again, with minimums felt in (Territoire de Belfort) (1 °C), and in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (Savoie), where the mercury will mark 0 °C, in the morning.

A few flakes are expected in (Hautes-Alpes) as well as in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, where the falls should be more sustained.

In the afternoon, snow is forecast in (Cantal), and rain will fall across the entire northern facade.

Only the surrounding areas of (Charente-Maritime) and (-Atlantique), to the west, as well as part of the Mediterranean basin will be under the sun this Sunday.

If for the moment no vigilance is required for this weekend of December 7 and 8, developments may occur between now and the end of the week.
