A new disappointment

Couhaib Drouech would have been a great asset in Will Still’s squad. However, the Moroccan U23 international preferred to continue his career in the Netherlands. The Moroccan winger officially joined the Eindhoven club. Couhaib Driouech signed a contract there until June 2029. He was transferred for 3.5 million euros. Unfortunately for him, this transfer prevented him from participating in the Olympic Games with Morocco, because his new club did not want to let him go for this competition.

With Sporting Portugal, RC Lens and PSV Eindhoven interested, Couhaib Driouech was spoilt for choice.
