Defeat in Toulouse this Sunday in the championship (2-0, 13th day L1)the AJA, 8th in the championship, is already looking towards its next gala event: the reception of PSG this Friday in a packed Abbé-Deschamps. But in the meantime, the draw for its 32nd Coupe de France final, which sees the entry of elite clubs into the running, fell this Monday: it will be Dunkirk, 2nd in Ligue 2, the weekend -end of December 21-22. It is the Icaunais who will receive the Maritimes. In 2023, the two teams had already met in the 32nd finals, among the Maritimes, won on penalties by Auxerre (2-2 after extra time).
The Dunkirk club has had an excellent start to the season in L2: runners-up to the leader, Paris FC (same number of points but better goal difference for the Parisians), the Northerners have signed nine victories in 14 championship matches.
