The French Volleyball Federation carried out, this Monday, December 2, the draw of 8e final of the Coupe de France.
The Alterna Stade Poitevin, difficult winner of Cambrai (2-3) on November 26, and Tours, exempted on the 1is turn, were concerned. And the two neighbors will move to League B teams at the start of 2025.
The Poitevins will travel to Royan, penultimate in League B (1 victory, 7 defeats), while the Tourangeaux will go to the Var to face Fréjus, second in the elite antechamber (6 victories, 2 defeats).
When they entered the competition, the Royannais narrowly escaped (2-3; 25-27, 25-22, 25-17, 25-27, 12-15) in Avignon (Elite), while the Fréjusiens had experienced much fewer problems in winning at Conflans-Andrésy-Jouy (0-3; 10-25, 20-25, 20-25), another resident of Elite.
The matches will take place on Tuesday January 7
