The ballot boxes have spoken. This Sunday, July 7, 2024, the 263,679 voters of Haute-Vienne voted to choose their representatives to the National Assembly.


Damien Maudet (LFI), Stéphane Delautrette (PS) and Manon Meunier (LFI) will therefore be sitting in the National Assembly. This is what the voters of Haute-Vienne have decided.

For this second round, the New Popular Front obtains 84,487, or 18,202 more (66,285 votes in the first round in the three constituencies). The National Rally obtains 70,143 votes, that’s 6,390 more than in the first round since the party with the flame had collected 63,753. As for The Republican Alternativewhich only presented two candidates in the second round – Marie-Ève ​​Tayot having chosen to withdraw from the race in the 2nd constituency even though she was the candidate who obtained the most votes, 16,937 against 15,544 for Isabelle Négrier and 14,768 for Gilles Toulza -, she logically lost votes with 26,026 votes castagainst 47,249 in the first round.

In the three constituencies in Limoges, it is the candidate Nouveau Front Populaire who comes out on top, as in 96 other municipalities, a clear progression compared to the first round. 97 municipalities have placed a candidate from the National Rally in the lead, a clear decline compared to the first round. Only Panazol remains to place a candidate from the Republican Alternative in the lead.

And in the first round?

As a reminder, in the first round, the candidates of the Republican Arc only came first in two municipalities: in Panazol (the municipality where candidate Isabelle Négrier is deputy mayor) and La Bazeuge, in the north of the department, for Gilles Toulza. As for the New Popular Front, in addition to coming first in the three constituencies of Limoges, the alliance of left-wing parties came first in 67 other municipalities, compared to 125 for the National Rally.
